Love this. I followed the Steve King link, which led me to the Holly Golightly cover, which is also great -- real Nick Cave’s Red Right Hand energy to it...

(Although maybe it would be more accurate to say that Cave and Golightly are both tapping into the same original Steve King energy)

Faster pussycat kill kill. Excellent choice, in homage this film poster was recreated in the book “Submitted: letters to a dominatrix” by lookalike Mistress Xena, expounding the virtues of the strong woman in control. http://www.probeco.net/submitted

, if it’s possible to have a Tura Satana Lookalike! When her partner leans forward to light her cigarillo for her, Tura comes up with the great line: “Easy baby, you’re a fire hazard!” There is also a great version of “Faster Pussycat kill kill” song by the rockabilly band The Cramps… Check it out.

The song appears on this album, Weirdsville. A mix of California surf music and blues. It's so dope.

I didn’t see his films when I would have been most susceptible. But this song is awesome and the clips are enough.

Not to be confused with https://stephenking.com/ or https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Steve_King. One awesome but not too much for words, the other just racist and dumb as a fencepost.
