Exquisite and overpowering, I don't know how he's able to exude both the feeling of being out of control, sensation boiling up and frothing over, causing his fingers to hammer and strike crazily -- too fast even -- and a feeling of precise, rigid, crushing control ... the song is like being locked in a cage with the devil and then eventually falling in love with him ...

Well said, M.G. Loved: “A temporary refuge, yes but a necessary one amid plagues, floods, fire, political violence, war and tragic social idiocy. I look forward to sharing it with you in any small way I can. Among other things.”

Amen to that 🙏🙏🙏🔥❤️

Bit OT but I am sure nobody else here has seen this and want to recommend it.

The anime series, 'Princess Jellyfish', is about a bunch of female geeks (otaku) in a women's apartment in Japan. Apart from one who's the focus of the series and a cross-dressing boy, they are basically the 'femcels' you were talking about, in a different culture. It's only 10 episodes or so. It's interesting to me to see the kinds of 'geeky' preoccupations people get into in a different culture--the Romance of the Three Kingdoms and traditional Japanese clothing come up, but also Western preoccupations like trains.

Fabulous pairing of music and film, with Harry Clarke’s as a sublime end note indicative of so much more.

Take care Mary, and may 2023 be a good year for you.
