Belly Dancer Kira Lebedeva
I don’t know much about this woman except 1) she is Ukrainian and 2) she is a wonderful dancer. I don’t remember how I came upon this video. But it is something I turn to whenever I need to be inspired by excellence, humor, beauty and delight.
That was in 2016. She did this in June of this year. Also beautiful but in a very different register.

That first one draws from Balinese Legong dance, the head dress, the hand and shoulder movements. Interesting that it add the sexy belly dance element to the virginal nature of the original dance, which was always performed by young girls of 8 to 10.
