Misha Saul is a guy I know from Substack. He writes Kvetch which I came across while wondering about the subject of my last post, Female Hypergamy—that is, wondering why FH has become defined as a social lynchpin in the imaginations of so many during a time when the gender-based wage gap is closing and women are better-educated and more autonomous than ever before. It’s a good question on which Misha has some thoughts! He also has thoughts on many related subjects, including polygamy in the old West, Christianity, and monogamy as a civilizing force to which (in his opinion) women have harnessed men to the benefit of all, vs. the sneaky re-emergence of polygamy via dating apps and the ‘false paradise’ of infinitely available casual sex = misery for all.
